Overview
The south central region of Tassèrus that is dominated by the Sha’al is commonly known as the Scaled Lands. This area is accepted as the Sha’al homeland, despite their presence in other regions and continents. The Scaled Lands are a sub-tropical region of swamps, forests, grasslands, and lush mountain ranges. Alongside the Fertile Coast, it is considered one of the best agricultural areas in the world. Thousands of years of Sha’áli civilization has shaped the region through irrigation, roads, bridges, and an elaborate network of aqueducts.
