Land of the Nadryn

The region of Nadrèwyr has a special place in Dekàli history for it is here that the early Ummòni army was handed a resounding defeat by “barbaric” indigene. After the conquering of Ildûn in 120 HK, this troublesome region was stripped bare; its religious artifacts, artwork, and cultural icons were collected and destroyed. The history of the Nadryn Clan was all but erased, its people fleeing into bordering territories. By edict of the Cult of Drāūn the only Nadryn structures to be left untouched were the Clan’s many burial mounds, constructed by the Ēōyn since the dawn of Aylyrea.

Regions, Geographic

Nadrèwyr is bounded by the Mar Dèkali to the east, the Ælyri province of Aðéwyr to the north, and the Ildûni provinces of Ilûwyr to the west, and Layrdawyr and Savàrið to the south and southwest.

• Ancient Mounds
• Bay of Crows. Following the defeat of Dekàli forces at Kirít Nalam in 104 HK, the surrounding marshlands were heavy with the stench of rotting soldiers. In the days, weeks, and months to follow the region was overwhelmed with crows and other eaters of carrion. More than one report described how the shores of the bay were black with glutted birds. Another report explained how the birds were so bloated that they could not fly. Since that time, the water body has been known as the Bay of Crows. The name has endured in no small part due to the crow being a representative of Drāūn.
