• Eye of Uul. The history of the Eye of Uul is nearly as remarkable as the powers it grants its bearer. A smooth bronze orb with finely machined grooves, the object does not attract much attention in its dormant form. Once activated however, the Eye of Uul reveals itself to be a horrid masterpiece of Vīsìktis-Ðaldōs magics. The Eye of Uul is one of two paired artifacts used by the Dekàli general Uul during the Second Acèntyri-Dekàli War. Legends of the general don’t give details regarding the artifacts’ uses. The only surviving image of General Uul is a strange mural in a harbor-side tower of the Kryçàryn, which depicts the Ðard on horseback during a battle wearing a full helmet devoid of eye-holes. Upon his death, the body of General Uul was removed to the City of Oð, where it was interred in a family crypt. When the occupying Eylfāe Governor Valsàhdylàrayhn located and opened the crypt in 12 DR, he had one eye implanted into the head of an Acèntyri adviser. The provenance of the second eye is lost from this time. The adviser was attacked in Kryr Shùrulm circa 30 DR, by the famed hero Gerrìt Kauln who carved the eye free from his victim and stole away with the prize. This act of defiance and the appearance of the Wheel two years earlier are credited with encouraging rebellion through the city-state. Over the next 600 years, the Eyes (or one Eye) have appeared and been lost again and again. Most recently, the magician Sadast secured one of the Artifacts at an estate auction in 638 DR. That orb was subsequently stolen by Dammon Shroudson in 652 DR from the magician’s Naryard sanctum. Afterward the Artifact was captured and employed by the Dnurū Kelzèrak, but was later retrieved and gifted to the Temple of Roð.

• Quartz Eye of Dægad. The artifact was pried from the eye-socket of Dægad of Drāūn’s skull by Dammon Shroudson in 653 DR. It was found in a subterranean chamber off a well shaft beneath the Village of Nyl. The Quartz Eye is a round clear quartz orb with finely chiseled lines to imitate an iris and pupil. It is at least 650 years old, based on the ordination date of the priest, but may significantly predate the deceased.
