Belts

  • Belt Sash of Urámar. A sash of intricate design, fashioned from red and black brocaded silk. The belt is tied at the front with a special knot used by monks of Jædð. It does not work unless the knot is tied properly. In 322 DR, a Night Lotus monk named Urámar was wearing the belt while trespassing in the demesne of the Palace of Jædð. Urámar was surrounded by Dagùlar warriors and cut to the ground. The belt was granted by Izzàradràgulð to Fervēō Cælestis of the Ēsàra’shàl Kdar in 653 DR. The belt radiates magic and seems to allow the monk to move and attack faster than normally possible. No drawbacks to the belt are known to date. (1 lb)

Footwear

  • Boots of Zirak. (In’Tèreth). A pair of finely sewn heavy white and gray fur boots. The leather interior of the boots is covered with arcane symbols that are not readily apparent due to years of use. The boots were found in the wreckage of an old ship high upon the southern slopes of the Tor’n Evalshat. In Orid 653 DR, the boots were found among the possessions of a failed adventurer that had fallen victim to the Ogdar Mōddah. They are currently in the possession of Dammon Shroudson. The boots and others like them are made from the furs of bears and wolves that track the barren tundras of Zirak in northern Lyrast. They are mostly made as gifts for meritorious scouts, messengers, and warriors. The boots radiate magic and keep the wearer acceptably dry and comfortable in arctic temperatures. (4 lb)

  • Surran’s Marvelous Boots. A pair of knee-high leather boots of surpassing craftsmanship. The boots are crafted from a milk-white leather and are worked with small swirling blue and gray designs, fashioned from small scales. Recently (652 DR), the boots were uncovered in a Ghûl lair in the Oðári region of Cenotaph and are now worn by Dammon Shroudson. The boots radiate magic and allow a character to walk on water at half-speed. While walking on/through water, the character sinks to the top of the boot, impeding his speed. The boots do not allow a character to walk on snow or ice. The wearer of the boots is effectively unsinkable unless until his body weight and equipment exceed 400 lb. (3 lb)

Masks

  • Gray Mask. The Illuminated stand vigilantly within Jædð‘s Old City wearing loose robes with their faces obscured by featureless gray masks. The masks are crafted from a strange material that feels like polished wood. The masks have no straps, adhering to the wearer’s face when placed in position. Not everyone is able to wear a mask. The inside of each mask is molded to fit to an Yrūn’s face. The masks were first fashioned for the Illuminated many years ago. It is unclear whether the gray masks confer powers to the wearer, or whether they’re symbols of membership and rank. The masks radiate magic, but their powers are not known. (1 lb)

Robes

  • Robe of the Kūm-ún Nar-amd. Folded within a submerged chest in the warrens beneath the Dreaming City of Dirapzir, the Robe of the Kūm-ún Nar-amd is a powerful and dangerous artifact.
