Half-Ogres
Ōgren are awkward, lumbering half-ogres of great strength and modest intellect. They stand half-again as tall as their Yrūn parents and are inhumanly muscled from head to foot.
Physiology
Like many hybrid races, the Ōgren are sterile. They can produce no offspring by Uren, Ogdar, or Ōgren partners. This has no effect on their insatiable libido. Most Ōgren are the products of rape. Ōgren are most commonly the product of an Ogdar male and an Yrūn female, though mothers of these unions usually die in childbirth.
Psychology
Ōgren are less savage than their Ogdar parentage might suggest. They are often employed or enslaved in civilized environments, where their great strength and size can be exploited. In some cities they are used to operate lifts, in others they are used as dockworkers, teamsters, and animal handlers. In the City of Kændlan, there is recent memory of a popular 6th century DR Ōgren male who worked at one of the city’s many auction houses. When swine or cattle were sold, he would lift the animals above his head and deposit them into the proper corrals, singing bawdy songs as he worked.
Culture
Ōgren do not have a racial identity, adopting the cultures of their current environment.
Language
The Ōgren do not have a language of their own.
