The southernmost land of the Ēōyn peoples, Aðéwyr is also the poorest. Once renown for its endless silver mines, the region’s resources were tapped long before the fall of the Old Empire. There are rumors of undiscovered silver veins, but it has been nearly a thousand years since the last mine was opened.

Regions, Geographic

Aðéwyr is bounded by the Mar Dekàli to the east, the Ælyri province of Tiréwyr to the north, and the Ildûni provinces of Ilûwyr to the west and Nadrèwyr to the south.

  • Abandoned Coast. The military of Ildûn have made a longstanding policy of maintaining an uninhabited margin between Ēōyni Aðéwyr and Ildûni held Nadrèwyr. Every time people try to settle the old towns and villages, Ildûni agents move into the region and burn everything to the ground. Occasionally, the regular Army of North Ildûn enters the region and engages in war practice, but otherwise the area is (like it’s name suggests) abandoned. Though some of the towns are recognizable as such, little remains after centuries of neglect and war.
  • The Doomed Way. This mountain pass between Aðéwyr and Ilûwyr has always been a source of trouble for travelers and caravans. In the time of the Old Empire, the passage was notorious for its brigand clans, which headquartered in among the hundreds of mines that riddle the mountain slopes. In current times, the pass is a home to outlaws seeking sanctuary from the courts of Ælyra or Ildûn. Mostly however, the pass has earned its name from the disproportionate number of companies that have embarked on quests into the Crescent Desert and never returned.
