The World

WorldThe Atlas of the World organizes the world by dividing it into world regions (i.e., lands and seas). These areas are further divided into major geographic regions (e.g., coasts, plains, mountain ranges). Regions are sub-divided into political, historical, and geographic areas, landmarks, and independent cities. It is the hope of the Atlas’ compilers that this will allow the curious to quickly find information (when available) on a specific area.

Another interesting way to explore the world is by using the Index of Sobriquets.
