To Make a Wizard

Eren 23-28, 652 DR: The group converges at Jōçim’s Northfields farm. It is agreed to help Dammon find the ingredients for his Wizardmaking. The journey into the Nar Drūden is interrupted by Urdàri warriors. The howling calls of the Falen Grū are avoided. The Old Gatehouse is found.

The group reached Jōçim’s farm, and were greeted coldly by Alcèrra.

Talídor, 24 Eren 652

After a night’s rest more formal introductions were made and Adāe returned from the town.

Padídor, 25 Eren 652

The following day Jak appeared, equipped like a seasoned adventurer although this was probably one of two times he’d ventured this far from marshy home. Food was gathered and the group ventured into the Nar Drūden.

On the first night of camping they encountered an Urdàri war party and were attacked by a few of their numbers.

Bærídor, 26 Eren 652

The following nights and days would be spent moving as quickly as possible through the heavy forest, stopping only for brief rests. They stumbled through the trees, hills and streams at night.

Scarred and scraped from their travels, the company finally reached a ruined keep rising from the forest. A large winged silhouette leaped from the battlements and swooped down to “greet” them.
