Ðardyð Ledìr Redarn

Ðardyð Ildi

  • Born: 630 DR
  • Died: Alive

Ledìr Redarn was born and raised on the small North Coast island of Ild. Following years of training at the esteemed Fel Fàradān Academy, she graduated with honors and was knighted by the King of Cups. As a Ðardyð, the young woman was granted an officer assignment along the North Cliff, overseeing the Ildi Strait. After fulfilling her commitment to the Crown, Ledir pursued a North Cliff woman that she’d met during her assignment. She soon learned that another Ðard was also interested in the woman and was challenged to a duel to settle the matter. During the fight, her enemy’s sword found Ledir’s leg and the battle was ended. Ledir conceded, thanked the woman’s father for his fair consideration, and hobbled away. Because Ildi marriages are short-lived (i.e., episodic), Ledir hoped to earn the father’s respect should she get a second-chance.

Tressta’s notes: A landless Ðardyð from Cūzol, Ild. Mid-twenties, tall, thing but strong, blond hair, dark eyes, walks with a limp from dueling wound. Ledir isn’t much of a knight, at least not in the classic sense. Tressta met Ledir while her ship was docked for repairs and to replenish food after an autumn storm. Ledir, two years prior, had dueled with another Ðard over a woman they both professed to love. The woman’s father, a well-respected Ildyn watched the match and declared his daughter to the man, after the duel. Ledir limped away defeated and has traveled through the North Coast looking for a way to restore herself in the father’s favor. Encounters: Non-business over the course of a few days
