Mūlùkhakákul is believed to have been the first of the Bloodlings to rise from the seeds of Drū Irígrim. Legend tells that the Great Turtle walked across the land and floors of the sea to awaken each seed and welcome all that emerged. Only when all the others had risen to make their claims did the Great Turtle find an unguarded coast to lay her own eggs. The people of Teréðor claim that Mūlùkhakákul came ashore at a place called the Bloodling Bay (rf. Middle Kingdoms, and that the water body was excavated as she dragged herself back into the sea.

There are many tales surrounding the Great Turtle. Some claim that all the world’s reptiles emerged from her eggs, while others limit her pedigree to chelonia.
