Arágis Nōwuld

Furniture and Rug Merchant

  • Born: 602 DR
  • Died: Alive

Arágis Nōwuld is a successful merchant located in the Naryard of Oð. He has business relationships with numerous cabinet makers, joiners, carpenters, and websters throughout the North Coast, and limited relationships with importers from locations as far-afield as the Fertile Coast, Vulmùra, and Æzàlar. Needless to say, Arágis has a wonderful collection of merchandise displayed in shops and houses throughout the City of Oð.

Other than his business, Arágis’ only passion seems to be bowhunting. A few times a year, he hires a band of bodyguards, scouts, and trackers to escort him into the Nar Drūden and Telábra Plains where he hunts everything from Kengrùlyr to Shūlyr. His trophies are crafted into animal rugs and taxidermy and displayed in showrooms and homes alongside his other merchandise.

He is a member of the Merchants’ Guild of Oð, subordinate to the Patron Lord of Naryard, Mēdrìn Mōn.

Tressta’s notes: Older man, balding, dark eyes, portly, always wears golden medallion with strange symbol. Sweaty and unremarkable personality. “Home” is well-furnished but unlived-in, probably a second house. Home filled with animal rugs and intricate blue and purple tapestries of unknown origin. Arágis never spoke of his real-life though often seemed pre-possessed by “that bitch Nalòrēa.” Encounters: 6+
