Sarájda’s Transfixion (Dragàmyr endàrtra Barátrū)

By means of a short command and an intense stare, the caster is apply to “hold” any beast motionless for as long as the magician can maintain his stare and concentration. For purposes of this spell, a beast is any creature of low intelligence with no inherent magical nature or ability. The spell is popular in and around Jædð where jungle creatures often prey on Yrūn and their kind.

Details

Any obstacle (including darkness) may interrupt the spell. If the magician looks away or is distracted the spell is broken.
