Loðáland’s Compulsion (Dragàmyr ildra Kadàktrū)

This spell places a simple suggestion in the mind of the subject. If successful, the subject feels an immediate need to fulfill that suggestion before giving the compulsion a “second thought”. Compulsions to complete strange or extended tasks will not work.

Details

The desires of the weaver are communicated audibly. The subject must understand the magician’s words (even subconsciously) for the spell to work. The spell issues one brief unequivocal command (e.g., “trip”, “retreat”, “laugh”, “piss”). Commands that cause the subject obvious and great danger will not be followed. Subjects remember who wove the spell after the effect has played-out, provided the magician’s presence was obvious. If the magician was part of a crowd, the subject might realize they were ensorcelled but not know who wove the spell.
