Assassins of Andùl Illyra
Most encounters with the Poisoners’ Guild occur with small charter groups established in cities throughout Teréth End. Leaders of these groups are sometimes aware of the organization’s breadth, but many are not. The core organization is much larger and older than most realize. The Poisoners’ Guild was founded during the 2nd century (circa 3/4640 ER) of the Reign of the Wyrmlord, Īdhàraghádi, in response to unscrupulous Yrūni leaders. Initially the group was responsible for “weeding-out” corrupt and cowardly servants of the Wyrmlord, paving the way for the rise of Andùl Illyra. Following the Wyrmlord’s overthrow, the Guild became an arm of Andùl Illyri kings. Though the Guild’s founding was nobly inspired, the current organization is something very different.
