Dergàrdgurün, Mountain Kingdom of the Gate
The Dwürdèni Kingdom of Ðirün rests on the northern coast of the Mar Illyri. It serves as the eastern bulwark against the Vulmùri Eylfāe (rf. Great Anahl). Ðirün, and much of the land around the Mar Illyri has been a homeland for the Dwürden since ancient times. The remains of their civilization can be found throughout Acèntyra in the form of ruined hillside fortresses, seaside ports, and stone roads that connect the cities of present-day. While the Dwürden cities are not as impressive as they once were, they remain impressive collections of engineering, architecture, and stonemasonry.
