Introduction

Gobrūzagel is depicted as a tall old Gnor with long thin limbs, a trailing white beard and heavy expressive eyebrows. He is remarkable among the Gnor due to his height and his ability to eschew physically change when moving between the three worlds.

A worldly deity, Gobrūzagel roams (and perhaps resides) upon the World of Teréth End, appearing to his faithful (and the enemies of his people) from time to time. He is most renown for rewarding his followers with marvelous gifts should they complete difficult or complex riddles and tasks. Inevitably, the quests involve the Gnor using all their forms toward a single goal. This is the main tenant of the Cult of Gobrūzagel, to accept and find harmony among an individual’s forms.

The origin of Gobrūzagel is unclear. Some claim that he was a child of Gnōmgnoram, while others believe him to be a contemporary. Shrines to the Gnor deity exist on nearly every continent (sans Emer) lending support to the idea that his worship is ancient. Gnor worship of Gobrūzagel does not preclude the worship of other gods. Although there is no proscription against the non-Gnor worship of Gobrūzagel, it is rarely done.
