The North Coast serves as the eastern border between the Old Empire and Vulmùra. During the last conflict between these two regions, the North Coast became a wide battlefield where the future of Teréth End would be determined. In the end, the great cities of Oð and Taldàna were crushed by the combined Acèntyri-Eylfāri armies, setting the stage for deeper and more lethal strikes against the Dekàli Empire. When the smoke settled, the Empire was fragmented. Today, the region consists of numerous smaller states vying to be the next successor to the Old Empire. The true heirs to this history may not survive this period. The city-state of Oð has been broken into many pieces and spends much of its dwindling resources supporting a burgeoning population, coping with widespread corruption, and dealing with rogue states. The city-state of Taldàna remains mostly intact but is threatened by the warlike Saránði on its southern border, a people convinced that the fall of Taldàna will be the first stage of the Empire’s resurrection.

Regions, Geographic

  • Iron Coast. The Iron Coast lies along the eastern tip of the North Coast, separated from the fertile lands of Taldàna by a spur of the Tor’n Evalshat. The spur, known as the Kalthan Crest, is one of the most rugged sections of a formidable mountain range. The Kalðan Crest is home to the dark kingdom of Kalðòram, a land avoided by most. The existence of these two barriers have traditionally made travel between the Eest and Wast very difficult. This separation has also had the effect of isolating the Iron Coast from continental influences. The shoreline is a graveyard of shipwrecks. The coast includes: Kalðòram, , Danok, and others.
  • Nar Drūden (e.g., Urdàri Kingdoms)
  • Tor’n Evalshat (e.g., Calsàdor, Cuilarulyr)
  • Tor’n Gorgyn
