Black Flame

Every heart burns with two fires. There is a white fire which burns with the life and energy of man’s eternal spirit and there is a black fire which consumes life and leaves him an empty vessel. This second flame is believed strongest in those that have ventured down the wretched paths, seeking to wring every reward from life without considering the spirit’s potential. The faiths who promise these rewards are considered Cults of the Black Flame.
