What are gods? The World of Teréth End has no shortage of divine beings. Some shower their faithful with riches and bountiful harvests. Others stalk blood-soaked battlefields collecting the skulls of the fallen. Still others remain remote, watching the mortal world unfurl like a distant play. Divinity is the theological study on the nature of the divine.
Theory
People throughout history have experienced the divine through faith or direct observation. The Ortor claim that many of their gods walk the Mortal World and that some (i.e., Tōédus) can be found and followed. This is also true of the Gnor deity Gobrūzagel. What makes these beings divine? A number of magicians, sages, and theologians have explored this question through the Ages. A number of different theories have emerged.
