• Hanging Walkway. Adventurous visitors to the City of Anðris who want a better look at the Anðyri Crater, can hike to the top of the crater rim. The view of the cloud filled basin with its tumbling cascades is breathtaking. For those who want a closer look, visitors can climb down rope ladders to long wooden walkway that is suspended along the crater wall. The crater walls are very hard and cannot be mined, so the walkway is suspended by heavy ship ropes which are tied to crane-arms at the rim’s top.
