Adæran has no major sub-divisions. Barons and lords rule individual towns and villages. Some baronies are strictly rural.
Cities, Towns, and Villages
- Town of Abbænā. The capital of Adæran is the coastal town of Abbænā. Though the town’s population is not large, Abbænā boasts an extensive network of piers, wharves, warehouses, and shipbuilding docks. The fortified shore-front is jammed with merchant ships and piers piled high with oil barrels and wagon teams. The extensive docks are dominated by a stone tower bearing the flags of the Fivéndam League. Whale oil and other fishing produce are shipped worldwide from the port of Abbænā, making the merchant houses here very wealthy.
- Town of Ðæmêra. The second-largest town lies three days south of the capital, on the Adærani border with Ōlood. Great stone bridges used to span the Run Iðíris here, but they were destroyed long ago and never rebuilt. All traffic to Ōloodi shore is done by river boat or by traveling inland to Kēyl.
