Arcanist

Arcanists are specialists that trade in Arcane and alchemical supplies. Outside cities, the role of an Arcanist might be handled by an Apothecary. In civilized areas, Arcanists are organized into guilds.

Ingredients

In areas where there are both Arcanist and Apothecary guilds, there is usually a separation of roles. In these circumstances,Apothecaries deal with plant-based ingredients, while Arcanists deal with ingredients extracted from fauna, rocks, and minerals. Prices do not include the cost of containers (rf. Glassmaker or Potter).
