Entering the city streets, the group immediately looked for a good inn to wait for Urzam’s summons. The first inn they tried seemed too shady to stay long, while others seemed pricier than they wished for their host to pay. They eventually settled on a mid-range inn that appeared relatively quiet and on a respectable avenue. Explaining they were guests of Urzam, the innkeeper led them to comfortable rooms on an upper floor. Welcoming the chance to sleep on “solid” ground, they turned-in early and slept uninterrupted.

The first morning in Uralū Sazularyū, Jak, Zêla, and Zildara went roaming the streets and found a tunnel that led into the underwater layers of city. Near the tunnel’s entrance was a merchant’s stand where potions of water breathing were sold for 50s each. Jak purchased potions for all three and they ventured into the underwater streets. The potions had the strange effects of not only allowing them to breathe underwater but negating their natural buoyancy, keeping their feet firmly planted on the submerged streets, and allowing them to speak as if in the air. After exploring Zultàyi shops under the harbor, Jak eventually found his way to the store of twin Eylfāe weapons dealers where he asked about some blades he was considering selling. The dealers seemed genuinely interested in the blades, but explained that they might have trouble coming up with its coin value. They assured him that if given the opportunity to examine the blade further they might be able to find buyers. Everyone agreed to this and Jak and his companions headed for the surface.
Meanwhile, Dammon wandered down from his room to speak to Graiç, who had stationed himself at the foot of the stairs. Graiç told Dammon that it had heard the inn’s patrons talking about the arrival of many ships over the night and that more were coming. No-one seemed to know where the ships were coming from, only that they were Yrūn refugees and they had few supplies and no money. Dammon thanked the golem for the information, and left to seek a Lapidarist to sell an aquamarine.
That evening, the group gathered back at the inn to talk about their findings. Dammon explained what he had learned about the refugees flooding into the city and Jak talked about the twin Aqōlàhqbāri merchants. Following dinner, Jak returned to the weapons dealers and was offered five Za’dir and a Scabbard of Fast Draw in exchange for the blade. Thinking it too little to part with the sword, Jak took it back and thanked them for their time.

For the next couple days, the group hung about the inn’s common room, enjoying the fire, good food, and drink. Dammon took the opportunity to walk around the harbor looking for book dealers but found little on his latest subject of interest, golems.
