Pryn Danok of the Red Temple
- Born: circa 617 DR
- Died: Alive?
Vellìd Irddrus was born in the Danóki capital of Salar to an unnamed single mother. Because his father was believed to be a Pryn Danok, the young boy was admitted into the Red Academy at an early age. Following his Passage in 630 DR, the young Disciple was sent to Seyçōlað to assist in conversion efforts in Clādan. In 638 DR, he was summoned to the Great Temple and ordained as a Red Priest. In 640 DR, Irddrus was sent to Oð to expand conversion efforts in the Sulsàdter. Though little success was expected or achieved, he served his time among the Beggar Baronies and was moved inside the City Walls in 646 DR. In the Spring of 651 DR, Pryn Irddrus was called home for an unspecified special assignment.
Tressta’s notes: Mid-thirties, well-fed man, bald, hazel eyes and terribly scarred hands. A priest of the southern Red Temple, Irddrus asked for Tressta each time he traveled north to the City of Oð. He paid with small coins. Tressta was made nervous during their first encounter when Irddrus produced a long multi-tailed whip from his robe, but he never used it within the context of their meetings. Tressta guessed that it was a ceremonial trapping of his priesthood. He offered that Tressta should leave her profession on many occasions, suggesting that she would be welcomed at the Theocracy of Danok in the South. Tressta last saw Irrdrus in the Spring of 651 as he was leaving the city. He did not hire her during his last visit, but did make time to meet with Tressta and share a drink. His thoughts were always impenetrable, though he appeared both excited and fearful about his departure. Tressta never saw him again. Encounters: More than 5
