Old Sulyàrdi Merchant
- Born: Unknown
- Died: Alive
Tasàr Cajèrin was once a well-known and respected Oðàri businessman. His successes are still well-respected within circles that remember him, though most believe that he died years ago. In 642 DR, Tasàr Cajèrin stepped down from the Merchants’ Guild of Oð, surrendering his seat and stepping away from the public eye. Most of his wealth was donated via the Zara Cajèrin Endowment to his alma mater, Orvud College. He gifted some of his properties to the Temple of Roð and sold all the rest but one, where he lives today. Today, Tasar shuffles around his empty home asking servants why Zara no longer visits him. Until 652 DR, a courtesan named Tressta made regular visits to the home and role-played the part of his long dead wife. When the encounters started, Tasar understood that they were acting. Toward the end of their meetings, he was unable to separate the fact from fiction.
Tressta’s notes: The old man invited Tressta to his Eldras, Sulyard manor on numerous occasions. The man’s eyesight was poor and although he refused to talk “business”, he paid well, and there was always a stack of coins and an expensive flower (uncommon in the shrouded city) on the door-stand when Tressta left.
