Constables of Oð

The Lord’s Men is the official law enforcement organization within Oð. Though they cannot claim the numbers of the Merchant Guard, the Lord’s Men are the only official law enforcement agency of the Oðári government, serving at the behest of Oðári nobility. Oðári judges and their cabinets are also members of this organization. They too are answerable to the Lords of Oð and the Oðári Charters.

The Lord’s Men are a distinct and separate entity from the Black Guard, which are agents of the Iron Crown.

Organization

The Lord’s Men are controlled locally by Lords within the state. Provincial companies (e.g., Nardùral, Platànya, Westfields) exist in smaller, more scattered numbers relative to population density.
