The Twelfth Taráni Dynasty
Lineage
- King Dēmēus Dìrsðan the Third of Tarántis. He was born 2932 YW in the City of Ciril, Tarántis. He was named Hern in 2945 YW. He is a member the longest living dynastt of modern Tarantis. Ruler of the kingdom since the age of thirteen, Dēmēus III has shown great political fortitude in his efforts to maintain a country where his powers and rule are constantly challenged. In his third year as Hern, he raised an army to quell uprisings in his eastern lands (i.e., The Sydirnyr War). In his fourth year, his armies swept across his kingdom to unseat those that charged him for their service during the Sydirnyr War. This is recorded as the Tarangyl War. The result of this second conflict was the re-assumption of several lands under the Crown, including Kadàrus and Moran. The control of these lands is not believed to last beyond the reign of Dēmēus III. It is thought that his heir will again have to reassert the Crown’s control.
