Magician of Morōfel
- Birth: Unknown
- Death: 871 HK
- First Appearance: NA
Telmèrya Asálāyd was a 9th century HK magician who lived along the northern slopes of the Tor’n Evalshat. Occupying a small tower above the Town of Morōfel, the magician and her assistants spent many years studying the wind movements through the mountains and hills.
It was not until two years after her death in 871 HK that the magicians of Oð learned more of her activities. A panicked assistant appeared before the Iron Crown to warn that his lady’s wards were failing and that her heir was incompetent. The assistant explained that Asálāyd had created an extensive dungeon beneath her tower where air spirits and elementals were kept in magical cells. He explained that for many years, these spirits had been treated terribly in the hopes to wrest every ounce of knowledge from them. Heeding the man’s words, the Crown organized a team of magicians to investigate the Tower of Asálāyd. Before the contingent could leave the City of Oð however, reports returned that the tower had collapsed and that terrible windstorms were ravaging through the hill country, tearing down buildings, destroying crops, and carrying children and livestock away. Not much remains of the 800 year old ruins, but the dungeons are thought to be intact.
