The Five Kingdoms
Much of the region known as the Old Kingdoms was once known as Sar Kàntir (i.e., Five Kingdoms). The confederacy of the Five Kingdoms included the Independent City of Ayrys, which is now the capital of Neyem. Sar Kàntir emerged from a coalition of Yrūni tribes living in the western shadow of the Shāyèhlra Bànah.
