Northern Sea, The Arctic Sea
The Northern Sea borders three continents in the northern hemisphere of Teréth End. Much of the sea is covered with ice for half of the year, i.e., Vulūne through Orid. For the remainder of the year the sea is crowded with fractured ice sheets and icebergs, making most sailing treacherous. The polar cap of Teréth End, located within the Northern Sea, is never clear of ice. Northern cultures have numerous myths and legends as to what might lay at the northern pole, but few land-based explorers have successfully ventured there.
A large Zultayan city is believed to exist somewhere under the polar ice sheet.
