The gods of Urzar are the oldest known pantheon to be revered by the Yrūn. It has been suggested that these gods were carried from the Lost Land when the Yrūn emigrated to southern Lyrast during the Second Age. The eldest of this pantheon is Gardaz, the Great Father. Gardaz is credited with giving life to the gods of Urzar. Coincidentally, his followers are credited with elevating his successor Jul and the Cult of the Child. Before the rise of Jul, the Urzàri pantheon evolved into a vast and varied collection of figures with innumerable legends and causes to bind them together. The organization and relationships between the shrines and temples of Urzar became so convoluted that even the priests had to refer to charts and guides to determine allegiances, if any.
